you'd defin. lose some weight if you stuck with that diet! that's not a lot of calories.
I think you'd have an easier time if you got rid of the OJ, though. That's a lot of carbs, it'll do nothing but stimulate your appetite. |

Oh well, I'll be having a fevah for the flavah on my bday.

After around 3 days of zero carbs, you won't feel as hungry anymore. Your body will be in ketosis and will begin to burn its stored fat reserves.
It really works, esp. if you combine it with some exercise. Many years ago, I ate ZERO carbs for 3 months - lost almost 40 lbs in those 3 months. It was weird, it happened so fast it seemed like I just woke up one morning and the weight was gone. Have kept it off for a lot of years now. I eat carbs, but am careful about what types. If you eat zero carbs for two weeks and do at least a little exercise, you will drop a bunch of lbs. |

I wish you the best..
you will lose some weight.. and then most likely gain more than you lost... when you resume your old routine.. simple trick.. just takes more than 10 days.. smaller plates & portions... Rika |

You need to sustain a lifestyle where you take in less than you expend over an extended period of time to get good results. Most people would be shocked at how little food it actually takes to sustain their caloric expenditure to make it "zero sum". Add to that how much food is consumed out of habit or routine or social expectation rather than our bodies telling us "hey, I need nourishment down here" and the readily-available mass-produced quantities of processed, sugar-filled, corn-syrup-pumped crap on the market and you see why we have a problem.
The best thing you can do is pay attention to what's going into your body - everything, even seemingly "inconsequential" snacks like juice or gum or whatever. Count the calories for EVERYTHING on a few typical days. You'll be shocked. I bet you can slash 20%-25% of your intake by just eliminating calories from liquids and unnecessary snacks. Start there. No soda, no juice, no alcohol, no milk. Water or clear liquid only (the flavor waters are fine if they're zero carb/calorie) or coffee/tea with no milk, cream, sugar or syrup. Have a bunch of small meals throughout the day - protein bars, fruit, whatever rather than gorging yourself by "three squares a day" (one of the worst things you can do for yourself is having "three squares"). Sustain this for months. It works. I know people who have lost well over 75 pounds without cravings or "crash diets" that are bound to fail by simply making lifestyle changes. Ultimately what you stick into your body is a choice. Make it yourself and stop deferring it to other people for sake of convenience. Good luck.
