I know a lady that worked for McDonald's at the corporate level. Her job was to fly around the USA and inspect the meat plants that supplied McDonald's. Her comment was McDonald's bought only high quality meat. They have very strict requirements. I haven't had a McDonald's burger in over 25 years, but that is not because I think it is unsafe. I personally don't care for the service. They are always full of screaming kids and if you want a burger that does not have mustard just go take a nap, it will be ready in 10 minutes or so with a 50% chance it is wrong.
