You're not supposed to track the trailer, just the car!

Trailers get low maintenance, bearings heat up, run low pressure. Fail.
OK, Lubie.....what maintenance is there on bearings? Ya lube them every time ya go out, zirc fittings, bearing buddies, etc.....old crappy lube heats up, heat transfers to the wheel, to the tires. Tires overheat and fail by cord seperation or sidewall blow out.... Trek can be dim but he ain't stoopid.....

Gon fix it with me hammer

it probably looked like a cheap ratty tire when it was new. Seriously.
Where else but on trailers do you still see tires with such thread? The manufacturers don't need to uphold the same standards as on regular vehicles, they assume that must trailers have more then one axle and as the tires are redundant... add the low diameter and there you go... I never understood this.. . people put the weight of an entire car, + the trailer chassis on 4 tiny wheels with cheap tires... Yet buy fancy expensive tires for the car that is put on top of the trailer... The cheap tire has to take more weight then the expensive tire... yet people are surprised when they blow out....
