ok, what are q-tips for, if not for stuffing into our ears?

my ear, nose and throat doc, just deemed any cotton swab off limits for ear cleaning. i am finally healing up from a crazy ear infection, + something else. got the all clear last week. he admonished me, and told me never clean my ears with cotton swabs again.

my wife hid them! hahaha. what are they even for then?

If you have ever been to a show, or shown your own car, some of the fanatics even go to the extent of cleaning engine compartments or under the car with Q-tips.

Aint ever gonna happen on my cars, they are meant to be driven and enjoyed, not shown.

We had a birthday cake for someone in college, but no one had any candles. So I took a couple Q-tips, cut off one end, dipped the other end in some hairspray, and stuck them into the cake. Voila.

I use Qtips to clean out my ears all the time...just don't push them in so far that they come out the other side lol

I use a folded over pipe cleaner for that...no chance of fuzzy residue.

my doctor said the human ear is "self cleaning". you really never need to get in there with a cotton swab. crazy talk, right?

Not only for ears, Q-tips are also good for soaking up blood during minor self-surgeries, cars, VCRs, guns, and other places you just can't get duct tape into.

Ever been tested for std? They sometimes use an industrial sized q-tip. Not for the faint of heart.
