You were wise, Sammy...I tried ONE can probably 6-8 years ago. Tasted terrible!

Isn't too much of just about anything (except water) not good for you?

Doesn't it seem like the FDA would ban energey drinks if people were really going to the hospital because of too many of them i.e. Like what is happening with Four Lokos!
You can't ban stupid(no offense to those that drink these).

Cigarettes are legal and we know the good that comes from smoking.

It would have to be sugar free redbull for me to try again.... And that night was just one big bad memory.... We drank WAY too much, I'd try again if I could stomach the smell.

The thing is I really don't have many bad vices. I have cut down on my beer drinking exponetially, I don't smoke cigs, and have on average 4 cigars a year. I need to find a way to kick this habit. I get gas in the morning before work and go inside and grab a red bull. Or I'll be shopping for groceries and grab a four pack.

I alone sponsor Red Bull's F1 teams.

One Red Bull has the caffeine of one cup of black coffee and 7 teaspoons of sugar. The caffeine content is about twice, and the sugar content slightly less, than a can of classic Coca Cola. See link below, also has a link to sugar content.

I don't like the taste of the stuff personally. Then again, I don't usually drink sodas either. 10 Red Bulls a day is like 70 teaspoons of sugar. I can't imagine how that doesn't put you at higher risk for obesity, diabetes, etc.

Having a red bull & vodka right now. My favorite first drink after a full day of yard work.
Almost December and still mowing the grass, should be the last time until spring.

Next will either be a nice Pinot Noir, Cab Sav or maybe just go straight to the Maker's rocks.

Not sure if this study was ever proven elsewhere, but it made me stop drinking RB.

Quote:
The caffeine-loaded beverage, popular with university students and adrenaline sport fans to give them "wings", caused the blood to become sticky, a pre-cursor to cardiovascular problems such as stroke.

"One hour after they drank Red Bull, (their blood systems) were no longer normal. They were abnormal like we would expect in a patient with cardiovascular disease," Scott Willoughby, lead researcher from the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, told the Australian newspaper.

I think it's amazing what some people put into their bodies. I once read the contents on a bag of "(artifical) Bacon Flavored Rings". WTF are "rings"? Lottsa chemicals, filler and fat, it turns out. I won't touch a "ring", whatever artificial flavor it may be, with a ten foot pole.

I do hear that they're good with Red Bull though.

I drink some coffee, but mostly tea, not so much for the cafeine, I just like it.

Having said that, I have drunk coffee to wake up/stay awake on occasion, but always with the realization that I didn't get enough sleep, been up too many hours, whatever. I don't like taking stimulants and when I feel the need to do so I realize I've been neglecting my sleep, diet or whatever.

Whatever you do please keep talking about Red Bull!
You may notice that Red Bull never dispells any of the rumours about their product!!!
Any press is good press
