Atomic Buffalo Turd Many variations to these in the BBQ world however they're generally a jalapeno shell stuffed with a mixture of cheeses, little smokie, wrapped in bacon and dusted with your favorite pig rub. That was a pre cook picture, they didn't last long after I pulled them off

Improvised dinner tonight. Cubed tilapia, marinated in olive oil, lime juice and salt, then sauteed briefly (not a necessary step). Served on wilted spinach and snow peas, with minced red onion, garlic, and cilantro slightly cooked in white wine and lime juice, raw tomatoes, lime zest, salt, pepper, paprika. Yeah, it looks a little like throw-up, needed more bright green color. Tasted sort of zingy and fresh, next time I'll spike it with tequila.

I thought that polenta was corn meal and grits are hominy. Different, right?

they are actually just slightly different - and def'ns might vary by region or country or you can say that polenta is high-priced grits that yuppies will eat... grits can be either white or yellow -- in old New Orleans people almost always ate white grits rural areas are more likely to have yellow grits today, you can buy either and get them from heritage plants a guy found growing along a RR track and then cultivated them on his farm...
