Those who put away their Porsches for the winter don't know what they're missing. My 911T was a blast in the snow, unless it high-centered it was unstoppable.

I'm nervous about getting my 911 in anything wet...it has the pre-galvanized body.

A guy around the corner from me has a 964 that I have a crush on... it's nice, but not TOO nice... paint is fair, interior is a bit worn, basically a mechanically A-1 car but a bit tatty. I would LOVE to pick it up and use it as a year-round car. Maybe even raise the suspension by an inch or so, get a roof rack for skis.

I drove both the 69 911 E Targa and the 72 914 V8 a couple weeks ago after we had 5" of that white crap on the ground. The 911 dug in and went (couldn't see out the windows too well tho). The 914 with wider tires and 2.5X the hp of the 911 spun and skated around every corner. I couldn't see out it's windows either. I did find out the rear window defrost worked on the 911 tho.

A good set of snow tires on a spare set of rims, AWD and a heater that worked, I'd drive one all winter long.

I put 14,000 miles on my '67 912 in 2005. id say 4000 of those were in snow. narrow tires and low power made that thing a great winter car.

Snow in OK isn't really good for cars. It usually hides a layer of Ice and only lasts a few days. Best to just leave the Porsche inside till it drys off....
