Man I gotta start reading the user ID with the thread title before wasting my time to read. I could have called what this thread was going to be about if I had done so.

I though '944 owners... can only wish...' ooooh maybe a thread about a Carrera GT or a BOSS lemans replica or... oh wait,

Mustangs.

Schumi 01-05-2011 11:32 PM

You know, I have an experiment- Maybe I'll go to a SN95 Mustang forum and post once daily on how my 997TT is badass in every way when compared to the cars the people on that forum drive.

And see how long it takes before I'm called a jackass.

If you have a 944, then you of all people, should know that a 944 with modern suspension bits, and an LS1, will eat up a bullet mustang on the racetrack.

Renegade Hybrids

But lay off of the regular mustangs. they make very decent rental cars.

I'm somewhat disappointed that he hasn't told the story of how the PCA wronged him yet.

Hahaha! Please, oh please, post a link if you do this.

Mustang owners know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Always trying to see who can piss higher up on the tree.

+100

Paul, it does get a little repetitious.

We all know you like your car. That is great news. I love my 1986 El Camino. Even after 291,000 miles on the factory stock engine I can haul more stuff it in that a Mustang or a 944. So I guess it must be the better car.

Geronimo '74 01-06-2011 06:16 AM

Anyone else get the impression that Paul is into mustangs because he realized that all that struggling to get in and out of his 911 made him look like an old fool?
I guess Mustangs are more accesible.

With all due respect Paul, I'm happy for you that you like your car as much as you do.
But as others have stated before me, this trolling is getting a little boring.

The SN95 Mustangs were the last two generations (1994-2004) of the old "Fox" Ford Fairmont chassis cars. Paul's is an S197 body which was based on the Lincoln LS chassis, with a solid rear axle replacing the luxury car's independant rear suspension.

In summary: You need to find an S197 forum to troll. ;)

Schumi 01-06-2011 06:28 AM

If my ex-girlfriend talked about Mustangs as much as Paul, I would have left her...

speeder 01-06-2011 08:28 AM

Take it easy on Paul. If the moderators banned him for being a troll here, he'd have to play jacks with himself or something for the rest of his days. That would not be kind.

"You can take the Porsche away from the boy but not the Porsche-owner obsession away from the boy", or something like that...

There are always the Mustang forums.

Best,

Yep, all dolled up similar to a GT3 RS...don't care which car it is, I don't like track graphics on a street car.

If ya race 'em, add all the graphics you like...

Otherwise...well, there's a reason I wanted a Bullitt model over a striped, scooped, and spoilered GT...

Just my taste, of course. :D

I went to the San Diego car show last weekend and test drove a Cadillac CTS-V coupe with 6-speed manual.

Ho.

Lee.

Crap.

Sorry, Paul, Mustangs have entirely fallen off my radar. You want badass, go test drive one of these beasts. I'd listen to you prattle on about that.

PDQ aren't those Caddies? Of course, they'd never hang with...

Caddy has run TV ads, touting a 'Ring time that translates to them being "The fastest Sedan in the World".

But, being the fastest wasn't my goal...
