i know it's breakable, but i doubt "they" (neighbourhood smarty pants) can break it
That's also why i mentioned getting a really good key for the encryption

I run WPA, it may be breakable, but I'm 300'+ from my nearest neighbor and the signal drops to zero about 50' down my driveway. Most of my neighbors are 25' to 50' from the middle of the road. I was amazed, the open Wi-Fi that I saw had their first or last name or a name that told me exactly which house it was associated with.

I used to have 20 or 30 kids outside my house then just before all their music was downloaded I pulled the power plug!

Ok I have a question on the topic.
Assume that I go to various restaurants during the month and whip out my iPhone and use the free wi-fi. Mostly I will check email or use Taptalk to check into Pelican. Is there a reasonable danger that someone can "see" what is on my phone or what I am doing? What if I went to my bank's web site and check my checking account? If I log onto my router I can see what devices are connected. I still can't "see" what those devices are doing. And I can't look at the other devices at all. I assume there is hacker software out there that would let a user to see the files on the other devices. Is that a likely thing?
