I don't know if you should try to grow a beard or not but you should definitely wash that dirt off your face before you go to an interview!

Beard or no beard, at least you should be holding a grenade in the picture. That will work just fine.

I'm going to go against the grain and say grow the beard out... and get an eye patch... and a three pointed hat... and a parrot.

Answer all the question with... RRRRRRRR.

You will get noticed!

FWIW I have some Nordic blood and can grow a great beard...

My (unscientific) research shows a few ladies like beards... but the vast majority don't seem to favor them.

YMMV

I'm with Vash on this one... the beard is OK as long as you keep it trimmed up, but your hairstyle needs some work. The "bangs straight across the forehead" look is not working for you. I would recommend parting it. Sorry for being so blunt, but you asked.

I asked my wife (who is a girl BTW) what she thinks and she says the same thing... beard is OK, hairstyle needs work.

As an aside, is it even legal to require a pic? Back when I had to review resumes on occasion we were supposed to toss any that had a pic because they're prejudicial.

Sidney,

Please, please don't go the cheap haircut. Definitely find a great female hairdresser who knows how to cut well and pay up.

Lose the beard - or trim it well. Spend some quality time on your grooming; it will make you feel great and you'll be happy that you did .

Definitely ensure your suit is a great fit and make sure your shirt/tie etc are flawless.

Attention to detail makes all the difference... GOOD LUCK too

just my 0.02c....

Just my opinion, but ditch the beard.

Here's a second opinion. You're ugly!

How did I miss this thread? Just finished and my side hurts from guffawing. Seriously that was good cheap entertainment.
Thanks for posting your mug and letting everyone go pinata on it.
You have got to post a post-makeover shot.

To some people a beard says you have something to hide....

I don't pay any attention to it. However, how you chose to present yourself may say some things about you. Would you go to an interview with a mohawk? Not quite the same but maybe you get my point. It says something about you.....

Cheers

I am going with everyone that says get a real haircut, don't let your mom do it again. And, shave the beard, it isn't that big a deal anyway.
