How can you tell when your sister is going bad?

I was working on my lady's Lexus today and when I went to the store, on my return my friend who is a Specialist in Wench Components said my sister was going bad and should be serviced. Of course no charge.

How the heck does he know this by just listening to the sisterr?

He works on Dogs and Cats to boot.

Any signs or symptoms you fellas can share?

Generally, she starts right up especially with the OEM spec copper plugs and brand new battery.

He said she would whine immediately after she starts, I guess I can't hear her in the cab?

Yes your sister is in need of servicing but for gods sake it's not a DIY job! (unless you live south of the Mason Dixon line)

If the OBD blows up when you plug her in . . . run. Run fast. Don't stop. Ever.

Is that the model with the RMS issues?

I've heard there is a fix you can do at home. Of course, that would depend upon whether this is a related model or a newly acquired sister.

Pics?

She just needs some top of of fluids. The tail light fluid is the first to get low.

Might need some lube in the rearend, check the phneumatics as well - sometimes they need augmentation. Once again, best to get a pro to do this - not a DIY job (too icky).

Didja check the oil level on the dipstick?

Sometimes a sister just needs a longer dipstick to get to the bottom of things, that ought to straighten them right out...

I've found that the more expensive parts you use, the less they whine.

Whose sister are we talking about? Can someone please clarify? Are we talking about Gogar's sister? Or Gogar's "sistah?" Or just a generic sister? If we are talking about our own sister, then my response to the original question is "Not my problem" and then I will throw up in response to all the perverted posts.
