Nah, he picks the stuff in person (no delivery charge at all) then the CHP delivers it back to you (if you are lucky) in the same condition years later!

Here's what I get from this:
1. You read the shipping offer wrong (note how many other people understand the "qualifying items" factor - works just the same as Amazon.com, some items qualify, some don't)
2. You went straight to "I'm getting screwed" mode
3. You went on Wayne's site to bad mouth him to his customers rather than just call them up (because you are really important and "shouldn't have to")

I say:
1. You aren't owed anything
2. If you don't like Pelican, try getting your Porsche parts from Autozone and report back here on how it goes

What I don't understand is why the purchase was completed.

The PP shopping cart does not give you a total $ amount before you hit submit?

Or did the OP not review his order before completing it?

Porschekid is correct. I just placed an order that was just like this. I know because it was clearly spelled out. It doesn't say all free shipping all the time. Reading is Fundamental!

Mistakes can happen. I've ordered the wrong parts before. Non-returnable OEM BMW stuff. Guess who took it back anyway?

There are real people in customer service. And they can THINK. Wayne has empowered 'em to try to make it always a "win-win".

Give it a try.

From the things I've ordered from PP in the past, I'd have to say it was one of the best transactions from a company:
Order was correct. Order was shipped correctly. Order was on time.

My only (past)gripe was the customer service was a little too relaxed...i.e.: The customer service people didn't/wouldn't find the parts numbers for me, go through the situation, and could have recommend threads and/or possible tools and/or "while you're in there" fixes.

However, "recommendations" are a big grey area legal-wise, and I understand there is a fine line between "up-selling" and realistic/needed advice.

My most recent order (this week) comprised of parts requiring two separate boxes. Both were shipped free, packed well, and on my doorstep within 43 hours. Just like the last time.

Then you can't read..... I ordered close to a grand worth of stuff from them last year, I never had any problems understanding the shipping.....

You must have a nice running 944 after that order... lol

I have about 3 grand into mine. these N/A's are the biggest waste of money.
Oh, don't get me started on my N/A. I can't wait until my ignition bits arrive. Oops, there goes another $200. It's a very addicting thing you've got going Wayne

Wow - this is all about $5.75 in shipping costs? Seriously?
I think I'll sit back and watch the OP get made fun of for the next 50 posts......
