Fuchs makes a new "Fuchs."

Porsche introduced a sort of "Fuchs tribute" wheel last year, but Fuchs itself also introduced a wheel saluting to the original style, only for recent cars. It looks much, much better than the wheel Porsche came up with... or at least much closer to the original.

And it's forged.

Great. What size is the one shown? 17 or 18 inch?

Fantastic, though I also like the Porsche ones.

I am not a fan of the Porsche version. "Petals" are too skinny for me.

"Oh I don't know"... How would they look on an impact bumper car?

They are 8.5 and 11" wide (both the Fuchs and the Porsche ones) and won't fit on an impact bumper car without Turbo flares and some fairly major spacers AFAIK.

I agree Tech, sweet rims... Those would look sweet on a 964 C4S..

They've been making them for a while already, I believe.
They make great centercaps too!

I think it's kinda a shame that Porsche uses its own wheels and not real Fuchs.

I was just in the local dealer asking about the Porsche version. They're called 'Sports Classics'. $6000 a set. They don't have them for narrow body cars yet.

Since some time last Fall, but they weren't promoted, AFAIK.

Agreed on Porsche's choice. some folks in that company need to read up on company heritage, I think.

Big fuchs with late offset just doesn't look right,
no matter who makes it Porsche's Sports Classic or Fuchs retro Fuch...They both look like a cheap reproduction on a modern car..

Me thinks the problem with the look is that the "petal" edges are to sharp. They need to be softer more rounded.
