At Killington, I stayed at one place (it's the one with the 2 giant St. Bernard's) and they had a small heated outdoor swimming pool. I was in that one below 0. You had to dunk under to unfreeze your hair, every once in a while.

In 98/99 I went on a New Years trip to Stowe, and we were treated to -25F temps while we were in the outdoor tubs. We'd jump out and do snow angels, then jump back in.

My hood in downtown JC, about 1 mile from lower manhattan. This photo was taken Dec. 27th, right after the first big winter storm. A lot of the snow that was piled up by plows or shoveling is still here from that storm.

There are cars parked on the streets here that have been buried up to the window sills since Dec. 26th, and are now completely frozen in place. Only an ice pick and blow torch will get them moved.
