I have a dimmer for my ceiling fan lights. They last a long time, but are hardly ever at 100%.

Appliance lamps like you buy for the oven. Last forever. Not decorative though. Decorative lamps are not heavy duty.

in the 'fwiw' category... the Appliance lamps (or higher voltage rated bulbs) use much more electricity for a given light output. --that's the trade-off for not having to mess with it as often.

Another trick is to put the switched light circuit on a dimmer. The lamps will last even longer at lower voltage.
I like this one: If you can't see it, there is a common toggle with the slide right next to it. |

I know it would be a hassle, and perhaps not relevant, but I always start with the simple things.
Check all connections. Power, neutral and ground, all should be separate. Do you experience any difficulties with anything else on this circuit? A loose, floating, or open neutral connection may cause some difficulties. Is this a recent problem or has it developed over time? Just some thoughts.
