Free Saturday in Phoenix - what to do?
I'm in Phoenix for work and it's looking like we have Saturday free, what should I do? I'm staying in Avondale, so I might catch a spring training game. Anything else cool in the area?

Did you turn in your TPS reports?
Maybe we should have a Pelican Porsche gathering there or somewhere? A cool short drive and gathering. Time (late afternoon?) and place? The weather should be great! Pavillions car show should be very good. I'm not trying to make it easy on Rick, but Cave Creek would be a nice Saturday drive. We could even make the run down to Bartlett Lake. Maybe Lake Pleasant Marina? Rock Springs? Any thoughts or takers?

I'm avail. for a little while at anytime, but can't make a day of it, as I'm riding the bike to San Diego on Sunday and have a lot of prep. work to do.

The desert is blooming in north Scottsdale. Probably everywhere. Blooming Sonoran desert vistas are always enjoyable to drive through, especially for an out-of-town visitor.

I'm up for whatever, and I do have an ultra fast 4-cylinder Mazda6 rental car.
 . I should know for sure tonight if I'm free, but all signs are pointing towards free Saturday and working Sunday.

If the fellas can't get together until the afternoon, get up early and wheel up to Prescott or Sedona. You can be back in time for Happy Hour. Perfect time of year to be there.

We meet at Hooters at I-17 and Bell once in a while, but Cave Creek is much more scenic and you, being from KS an all, would like it a lot more. Not just saying that because I live there. Maybe we can haul OddJob out of his crypt. He's been MIA for about a year.
