Looking for famous Peter Max image

Well, I think it was by Peter Max back in the 60's. This image was a girl sitting or lying down, on a crescent moon. You young guys likely have never seen it. I need it for a project and I've searched Google for a few hours. You used to see it on T shirts, Harley gas tanks, posters, etc.

Anyone know what I'm even talking about...and/or where I can find the image ?

Peter Max was the Yellow Submarine guy. Maxfield Parrish was the artistic babes in nature guy.

Not sure if that is any help.

I was thinking Maxfield Parrish. Unless you thinking of the gal on the Miller Beer bottle..

I remember the image distinctly but I still think of myself as "young". Maybe it's time to reevaluate.

Dogface- I have a Peter Max from the 1992 Grammys that sounds a little like what you are talking about- kind of a spacey vibe with a purple background but it looks more like the earth than the moon. You might try to find it on Google images.

That's a good guess.

He needs to post something of similar style or we could go on guessing forever.

How about some Rodney Matthews ?

You say that like Erte was little more than an amateur.

No disrespect intended- just didn't want to sound like a know it all since I don't have any of his work.

Yeah, I play and am not too bad but I'm not a pro or performer. Just do it to entertain myself and my dog mostly. Also around the campfire, etc.

Craig: I love the top two and will download and likely change to one of them....Thanks !
