If you're a member of a professional association, many of them sell it. It may even be worth the annual dues to join an association that sells E&O.

That was a great tip, Hugh. As members of SEMA, we get all kinds of insurance... nothing for our business (media) listed, but it might be the best bet.

Errors and ommisions. It's a kind of professional liability insurance that covers breaches of professional duties the same way that malpractice insurance covers doctors and lawyers.
Professional associations are a good place to start. The other thing to do is look up a good local insurance broker, not an angent or agency. You don't need someone as large as Marsh & McLennan Companies, but someone like that. You can find some nice local or regional broker who will get you the best coverage at the best price.

Does AIA membership yield special rates with anyone? of course annual membership is around 8 bills now so it'd have to be a pretty substantial benefit to offset the membership cost... Just curious.
