Early '50's BMW 501/502.

I presume the wheel is due to their being nicknamed "Baroque Angels", supposedly because their flowing lines reminded people of the carved wooden figures of the Baroque period.

Is the hub aftermarket?

Most excellent. Spot on.

In Catholic Bavaria BMW offered the horn hub with an image of St Christopher (the patron saint of travelers) as an option.

Bingo. My compliments. You are seriously good at this. Are you in the trade?

1937 Horch "Streamline" Coupe. The pre-war coupe I would most like to own. I believe this one was owned by Bernd Rosemeyer for many years.

Hint: There are only three.
For the detectives among us, it is one of my cars and is listed in a previous post.

Tom you're close.
The car is actually a Shark. It was built as a tribute to the Scarab. I was able to register it as a 1959 Scarab but it is actually a re-bodied Corvette.
