Knowing Reader's Digest target audience, I would assume their number one car name pick would be the Mercury Grand Marquis...

Did RD start marketing to 16 y/o boys?

Bizzarrini Strada Alloy...rolls off the tongue (especially in Italian).

Sidenote, in keeping with Mustang theme: Also appeared in the movie "Bullit"

Put the word "anal" in front of any car name. Go ahead, try it!

Reader’s Digest Reveals the “Best of America”
on April 13, 2011

Coolest Car Names - #1) Ford Mustang, #2) Dodge Viper, #3) Corvette Stingray, #4) Plymouth Barracuda
I guess because they no longer make a Cougar, and their is no more Mercury so it did not make the list.

A Cougar hunts and kills, a Mustang gets broken then becomes a beast of burden or left as prey in the wild.

Cougar would have fit in will the other killers on the list.

Sorry... I don't care what any poll says. The coolest car name ever is Barracuda.
