If your wife keeps coming out to the shop to nag you ,what have you done wrong?

Wife come's out to garage once in awhile. Usually with an open beer and sandwhich. The washer and dryer are also in th garage. Hang around too long and I have here sit in the car and hold wrench, multi-meter, whatever. She leaves quickly.
Firing up the shifter kart will chase anyone out.

Set the alarm clock to go off early, then roll over ask ask her, would you rather have sex or should I spend the entire day in the shop without being bothered?

She'll say "have a nice day, let me know if you need anything".

True story here:
This week, a buddy of mine came over to help me reinstate the A/C ('85 911).
He showed up at 5:30 after work. We busted our tails to replace the squeaky evaporator blower motor, change all of the o-rings, replace the rec'r dryer (never out of car before), evacuate with vac pump, and charge.
We were done by 10:00, and I was in bed around 10:30 after putting all the junk away in garage.

Next morning - Wife "Why did you come to bed so late???"
Me "Because I thought it would be rude to leave Don to finish up by himself."

It was a rather short conversation from there on...

My wife has the uncanny knack of showing up just as I have accidentally dumped batch of tiny roller bearings on the floor, or more likely, am just about to.

I applaud my wife for wanting to be close in a meaningful way, but engaging in a meaningful relationship and trying to load heavy equipment into a trailer truck at the same time could get me killed.

As a matter of fact, it almost did get me killed.
