From my area of the world:

To qualify for an APP, the individual must be certified by an APP Program recognized health practitioner as having one or more of the following conditions:

- Cannot walk without assistance of another person or a brace, cane, crutch, a lower limb prosthetic device or similar assistive device or who requires the assistance of a wheelchair.
- Suffers from lung disease to such an extent that forced expiratory volume in one second is less than one litre.
- Portable oxygen is a medical necessity.
- Cardiovascular disease impairment classified as Class III or Class IV to standards accepted by the American Heart Association or Class III or IV according to the Canadian Cardiovascular Standard.
- Severely limited in the ability to walk due to an arthritic, neurological, musculoskeletal or orthopedic condition.
- Visual acuity is 20/200 or poorer in the better eye with or without corrective lenses or whose greatest diameter of the field of vision in both eyes is 20 degrees or less.
- Condition(s) or functional impairment that severely limits his or her mobility.

Perhaps being deaf limits your mobility...sounds like the doctor is the new douche.

Sounds like these people not only should have a seperate parking spot, but an entire seperate lane for driving.
You're practically blind? No worries, Here's your parking card.... Who needs vision when you're actually driving on public roads?..,

(He moved it to a real space immediately after taking the pic, though.)

It doesn't have to be the driver. It can be a parent, child, or spouse I believe.

Well that just goes to show the maximum precision one can expect when driving a truck with such stupid sized wheels and probably suspension to match.

nynor 10-18-2012 07:39 AM

would you like to stupid-size that? :)

My favorite local dbag parks his BMW 7-series, his GF's Acura and his motorcycle in the handicap spot of my condo building.

I have complained twice about it to condo security twice with no apparent response. He parks like this-- daily! In Ontario it is a huge ticket and likely a tow if you are caught parking in handicap spots but this dbag gets away with it every single day!

Call the COPS. The security guard does not want to get a load of crap from that tenant. Call the people that enforce the law. If they don't issue a ticket call the local TV station or newspaper. There is no excuse for parking in a handicap spot, ever!

Noah930 10-18-2012 12:15 PM

Ha ha. I must confess to having parked like that once before. However, in my defense, I had been at work for 24 hours and when I had parked my car the day before there was a thick blanket of unplowed snow on the ground. I simply parked my car at the end of a row of already-parked cars. But in the intervening 24 hours, all those other people/cars had left (how many other idiots work 36 hour days?) and the snow had melted.

Stop by the hardware store and buy 8' of chain and a padlock. Chain the front wheel of the BMW to the front wheel of the Acura. Mail the key along with the above photo to the local police. They'll get the message.

It was still embarrassing as schit to hear your license plate paged overhead, go out into the parking lot, and see your car parked in the middle of the aisle. Doh!

that looks like a well setup 944.

speeder 10-20-2012 06:06 PM

924.

And i guess they don't have a tow truck in that country, so they're just going to build the new road around that biotch.

Yes. That's a narrow body car, a 924S from 1987 or thereabouts. I sold them new at the dealer.

LeeH 10-20-2012 06:21 PM

How could the owner move it with that boot on the rear wheel???

I was thinking early 924, not a 924S... based on the wheels & bumpers.

nynor 10-20-2012 06:36 PM

actually, that is a late 70's 924 with four lug wheels. the 944 never came with those wheels. as for the spoiler.... who knows. but the 924S came with the same spoiler as the 944.

porsche4life 10-20-2012 07:03 PM

Nope.... 924s had a similar spoiler, but it was narrower than the 944. ;)

I think that's an after market spoiler. I've looked though more pics than I care to admit to and can't find another like it.

Foho(spelling) spoiler, 77 or 78 6X14 rims 4 on 108.

GDNF2ET 10-21-2012 05:53 AM

Found a spoiler on a 1977 that's pretty close..It took a couple hours to find it...:D

I stopped today to get pick up lunch, walked to see if there was anything cool while the fixed my order, came back and this clown had parked right on top of me. There was no other cars on the other side when he parked, so no reason to park on top of me:mad::mad:

In our work parking lot this morning. Granted, no one really parks where this idiot parked, but if that is the case, why take two spots?
