This Lexus parked in one of the two the EV charging spots behind our hotel from Wednesday evening to Friday morning. There were only two of us there with EVs and by shuffling around we managed to get charged in spite of her.

Was there a sign that said "no parking unless you have an EV"?

It said "EV PARKING", on the pavement just out of the picture to the left, and the spaces were painted blue as you can see in the pic.

It may have said EV CHARGING. I don't remember.

It was a public lot and we were in Canada. I don't know if it's against the law to park in an EV charging zone or not.
EVSE etiquette is still evolving. My car sends me a text when it is charged so I can go move it out of the charging area if I want.
This was a bad position for the EVSE anyway. It should have been out in the middle of the lot with four spaces around it instead of on the edge with only two spaces that the cord could reach.

How much do they charge for electricity? I assume it can't be free! :eek: Then again, if its free, quite complaining!

I want hotels to have a pair of spaces painted blue that are extra wide to protect my doors with a sign that says "Porsche Parking".

Yes, it was free. Not sure what you mean by quit complaining. It's only free if you can get to the EVSE.

There was a light blue mid year targa parked in an extremely well marked hc spot in the public lot right outside of the monterey peer last night near the benihana. In addition it was a 30 min only lot. The leo was hanging around waiting and he was way pissed!! Hope that turned out ok ..but... Wtf??!!
