I am sure the stewards will have the final say on that. Kind of watched as I was speaking to a friend on the phone at the time so I did not really follow all of it.

I just can't get into F1 this year. I might record a race, watch the first five laps and then fast forward to the last five laps. I've always been a huge F1 fan - I don't know what's wrong with me..?

Too many artificial equalizers. Should have re-fueling, muti-tire manufacturers, let them do a little tweaking; find something and leave it alone for awhile. And , get rid of about half the buttons on steering wheels. Drop KERS and leave the wings alone. One guy opens a wing the other isn't allowed to and on and on. Let the teams make gains on their own merit. But I still like it. Loved Indy also, especially back in 80's and early 90's. I still like it too!

Yeah, me too. Stopped checking out the speed channel because it's now just wall - to - wall Nascar.

It's a tough call. At the end of the qualifying lap it seemed Maldonato hugged the right through the next to last turn leaving room for Hamilton, but i suppose he was trying to get an inside run up the other two, then Hamilton forced him out of the turn. So he was pissed. After the hairpin when he was getting a run on Hammy it looked like Hamilton made a move to the inside on Maldonato, and then he appeared to once again just before he got clipped.

All the "experts" were claiming Vettle was done.
Tire issues and all, Vettle was flawless.

I watched the entire race this morning. I have to say it was very exciting with some moments that will be talked about for a while.

So is this thread noted as a qualifying spoiler or a race spoiler or both? The race was actually pretty good. Hat's off to _ _ _ _ _ _ for the drive of the day & to those others guys for their podiums too.

Hamliton, seems to me to be no quarter ask or given type of driver; he is racing to win. But at the end of the day Vettle again qualified and finished ahead of the pack on one of the fastest tracks that F1 visit's.
