Wow, that's a surprising post/link.

I'll have to dig around, but somewhere I have a picture of THAT actor sitting in our car at the 50th anniversary of James Dean's death event in Cholame.

I've visited the site a few times since getting my Porsche and each time there's been an interesting gathering of folks around the memorial. One time several people took photos of my Boxster parked in front of the memorial. They were from a tour bus that had stopped

I lived in San Luis Obispo when the memorial was built and went out to it to see what the fuss was about. Met some intersting people then too.

I lost my photos to a dead hard drive but my Dad and I took our silver Boxster S there a while ago (we do not have the 986S anymore).
