Somehow I changed my language preference to British...

...now my spell checker is giving me fits on words like "favor." (Which is showing red as I type.) I have gone to various tool boxes and they all say "English (US)." I've been in Word, my browsers. What did I do?

BTW, Pelican's checker is OK with how I typed this.

Oi!

Spell checker in what application? Office/Word? Browser? Something else?

How does it want you to spell favor?

I found out it's OK in Word. I use Chrome and it wants "favour" and "moulding" and "behaviour." None of those words are shown misspelled as I type.

I Googled the issue and I got nothing. No US vs. UK. I see I can change my language preference in Google to "Elmer Fudd."

Maybe I should do that.

My work is done, that's absolutely the correct solution!

Check this out.
How do I use the spell-checker? - Google Chrome Help

and/or this
How do I change fonts, languages, and encodings in Google Chrome? - Google Chrome Help
Specifically the "Browser Interface Language" or the "Webpage Language Preference".
I'm not sure if you need to look at English-US or US-English instead, possibly, of English or English-UK.

Here's another that may help. It includes a couple of partial screen caps.

Hey Zeke

I'd watch out for that Aussie thing if I were you. You might start saying things like "Fair Dinkum, Cobber"

Cheers
JB
