Agreed! Yowza! That car is beautiful. I just want to run my hands all over it. Wait, TMI?
![]() I really like the red interior, too! Funny, I never liked red interiors when I was a kid.

It is hard to tell just what color it is. The entire photo is too yellow. That might just be a warm silver color. I wish the photographer did a white balance.

quick auto color and gamma correction in PS. You just never know until you see it in person. A pewter toned silver would look great though. My old 69E had brown tones in the silver (respray) and it was gorgeous.

At first, I wasn't a big fan of the Singer, or Rob's own 'cafe' for that matter. But since the debut of the white one, I've come around.

My old 356 Outlaw was painted with Mercedes Benz "Brilliant Silver".
This looks very similar, it glowed! ![]()

One of my all time favorite colors for a 911 is silver.
I love a bellows bumpers car in silver with the black flare protectors on the rear flares. Something like this. ![]()

Here are pics by 2 different photogs of the Ragamuffin. The color is pretty much the same.
![]() ![]() Very easy color to mix. Get some Porsche silver and some gold. Add the gold about 1:2 ratio. More or less will bring that color. There is a sweet spot where just a little more or less has profound effects. The Singer may have some pearl in it too. |

That white Singer 911 may replace the Yellowbird on my all time favourite 911 list.

Silver is such a gorgeous color but it has to be just right. It is a color that can look cheap if it's not the perfect hue/clarity/gloss, IMO. And it does not age well at all. But when it's new-looking and right, it's a knock-out.

That Singer would look way better in Aubergine.

I hate, absolutely hate, 993/996/997/boxsters in silver, because it's so bloody common, they look boring. However, I LOVE early 911s in silver - it just looks so sharp. And whether it's a trick of the light or not, I love that pewter shade of the Singer! If I had another zero on my bank balance, I'd buy one for sure.

I'm partial to Dolphin Grey myself... if someone should care to sponsor the rustoration on my 356, I'd like Dolphin Grey (original color), re-do all chrome as black chrome, tint the spare set of glass I have...

Good taste sir,
Years ago while working a supercar project we were asked by a certain world famous rockstar to colour match the paint of his new car to an actual Aubergine vegetable he had brought in. He also asked for lucky Budda symbols to be painted on the doors and the hood in a very subtle different shade. Just had to catch the light right to see them. The best bit was the lucky Budda spiritual rollcage we also fitted to protect him from harm. It was made from 3 lucky Budda crystal elephants built into the car, one in the dash, one by the gearstick with a fibre optic cable up its a** so it could glow and one in a little house behind his head on the parcel shelf. He was super cool and just like your average joe, no ego or entourage in tow. His daily ride was an old black AMG 500 SEL, with blacked out chrome.
