I average about 12 hours a day but generally will not give up weekends anymore. I'd rather work 5 14-16 hour days than 7 8-10 hour days. After a while you need the mental separation. BTDT!
Of course if I realize my eventual goal of having my own practice, that rule goes out the window and it becomes "whatever it takes to succeed", but for just a paycheck? I'll take some occasional time away from the orfice thanks. |
