Where do you put your cash$$
You have a chunk of cash not to invest, do you put it in a bank at zero interest or do you just keep it in hand?

Do you have "savings" and "investments". Are you now looking to have cash on hand "just in case". Wall safe, not particularly resistant other than that you can hide it. Bolt to the floor safe. Should probably also be hidden, the one bolt probably isn't going to hold it down long.

Fire retardant v fire resistant. Tough call. I'd bury it the way things are going here.

I used to keep it all in the safe at my pawnshop, then I got to thinking that was pretty obvious. The day use money is still there, the rest is just in a box/bag. But one would have to go through a lot of bags & boxes to find it.

If you are a liberal, Inflation protected treasury funds. If you are a conservative, a gold ETF

I was trying to raise a family & make ends meet during the Carter years of high inflation. Carter got stuck with the bill for the Viet Nam war. How does a 15-18% mortgage sound to ya?
Anyone who doesn't think there is another round of the same garbage coming has their head in the sand....or someplace darker. Some cash in hand for emergencies....bout a months worth of expenses and the rest into gold/silver.. not stocks but in hand..gold is more stable. A supertanker full of oil if ya got the bucks for it. ....oh and get out of expensive hobbies.

I keep cash in a safe at home, but I'm always needing quick liquid green money to fund purchases for business

It is to strippers what ammo is to guns.
Without it, no fun, things don't heat up but if you use it wrongly, or don't have enough of it for your needs, you end up in the hospital, or worse
