David just sent me a text. He'll be getting discharged today and he walked some and pinched a few nurses. It's his wife MJ's birthday today, so getting him home would be pretty cool for both of them! David said he had little, if any pain today, which is quite an improvement over yesterday.

Kudos to all involved, best outcome expected I suppose. David, may you heal quickly, then take a moment to reflect and make the adjustments in your life needed so this never happens again, that is, not if you have anything to say or do about it. Rest well and enjoy the rest of your life! And a big 'atta boy' to all the Pelicans who did what ever they had to do to get David to get his butt off this BBS and get to a proper MD! Way to go!
