For all you guys out there of a certain age, google (video) stroke rehab, and see what can happen.
If you're lucky, mild impairments,if you are not,the effects are devastating, not only to you but your family as well.
Good Luck Dave

Late to this thread. David, I'm glad you listened to the advise here. I hope all is going to be well with you. A special prayer for you tonight.

David's wife here - David is still among the living, however, the hospital kept him tonight and is he pissed! We don't have any definite information yet -- they're still doing tests - all signs point to a mini stroke and certainly serious. For my part - thank you all for pushing him to go to the ER. Pissed or not, that's where he belongs at the moment...light a candle for him.

Please read my other post, make sure he get an MRI. My damage did not show up in the CAT scan. they did not want to do the MRI because of my age and there were no symptoms of a stroke. The ER doc wanted to sent me home. Hang in there.

Damn,

But thank you for the update!

We'd rather have a pissed David than a dead David any day. Good to hear he is getting treatment early.

Here's hoping his docs find out the cause and David is back to normal in no time.

pissed off is far better than other alternatives. Give him our best along with a good ration of verbal abuse. It's the Pelican Prescription™

Pissed off is better than pissed on. That's what you wanted to say.

OMG. Dude.

Docs'll put you on some medicine and you'd be standin' tall for the gig.
