I like how the new boss uses the 1969 C stripe.

+1 on the "C" stripe. I think it looks better than the "Hockey stick" stripe. Minor point here...but the 2012 was the one with the "C" stripe , and the 2013 has the "Hockey stick". Right ? Kinda like 1969 vs 1970 ?

Same here.

Wellll... upon further review, I guess I cant claim either rich nor good looking.

However Matthew 19:24 says "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

So since I am closer to a camel than a rich man... I have that going for me. which is nice .
If I ever want to go through the eye of a needle.

Thumbs up Lexus LFA

+ One for the LFA
The price is out of this world, but so is the performance. And the car is drop dead fast and in red with all that carbon looks great! It was one of may (3) cars at the LA Auto Show that catch my eye.

I'm not sure since this is the first Mustang I have owned and it came with it. I suspect the BMW M3 didn't have its traction control on this Speed episode vs the Boss.

Just for comparison: This is the 2012 with the c stripe

Smart move by Porsche. Until you've worked a show, you would better understand. 99.9% are lookers and many of them ravage and rip-off knobs, etc.. Call me a profiler but I've even caught white male adults do it... unreal idiots. Then you have idiots chewing gum or other and literaly spit it out or stick it on a seat! However if you are serious and ask a representative, most will accomodate you. If you are true buyer obviously you head to a dealer.

Stephanie, Gotta admit, I love the blue on your car...prettiest of the Boss colors, as far as I'm concerned. Of course, dark highland green metallic is my favorite Mustang color.

Thanks for the link...I hadn't seen that before. Funnier than all get out!

The LFA was my favorite also. 500 mfgd, $375,000. They said Lexus wasn't making money on them, it is a way to showcase their technology and design. Yamaha instruments (pianos, drums, etc.) designed the titanium tips for the triple exhaust to achieve the Formula One sound and the design of the cooling system was amazing.

Shot of the rear exhaust and the grills where the cooling system sits.

The Boss 302 is the first American car I've gotten excited about since I drove a Z06 nearly a decade ago. The Z06, though, is a Corvette. Too many compromises--my piddly 911 has more passenger capacity.

The Dodge Challenger is still the best-looking American car on the road today--IMHO--but I think the Mustang styling is heading in the right direction. The front end still needs work.

Sadly, of the pics above I think the Kia concept is the nicest-looking car. Minus those awful wheels.

I went to the Auto Show yesterday (black friday) so it was pretty crowded. You could really see the way the people and demographics responded to what was displayed. The pimply faced tuner kids were gathered around the WRX STI and the 370Z, the hipsters and geeks around the new Mini Cooper, Beetle, CRX, Hyundai Velostar, Jeep "Call of Duty, MW3" Rubicon, etc. No problem walking up to the Juke, any GM product (except Camaro), any Chrysler (except Challenger and Charger).

By far, one of the busiest was Ford's Mustang display and F150 (new Raptor display was cool with the body lifted off the chassis with a 2 post lift). Ford had probably the most interactive displays also. Mustang was the broadest range of age and demographics, everybody was interested and when they ran the Shelby on the dyno it was pretty cool.

Gee, I can't wait until somebody here buys one and gives us a driving report...

I like that dark blue metallic Boss. I might prefer the stripes in silver and the wheels in silver as well, though.

I had seen the LFA before so I did not try to get a good picture of it. There were a lot of people around it when I was there.

That Miata thing was stupid. A blatant rip-off of the Boxster Spyder.

Dan Gurney behind the wheel of #2...he could drive some. Now that we have Pony cars back in force, I wish that series could be revived...
