Very simple DIY project. Once the cover is off, it's just 2 or 3 minutes. Test output voltage 1st.

Good for you Hugh. You got luckier then I. When my power supply died, it took out my mobo.

Sometimes the failing power supply can take out the systemboard and you may see leaking capacitators. This just happened to an old PC that I was repairing for a friend.
