Jackass - The Movie

Was on again late last night. Caught it in the middle. Couldn't switch it off untill I saw Hugh Rose - Safety Consultant.

Don't know why that is...

You had mentioned a while back that there were stunts they wanted to do, but wouldn't pass safety.

Care to share some of them?

I can't possibly imagine what those might have been.

Well there was that one when they wanted to get all liquored up, tweet a pic of being wasted. Then drive home in a GTR3 and kill yourself and passenger.. I'm pretty sure Hugh vetoed that one !

1) They wanted to take a pair of pliers and pull the skin up on one of their forearms and shoot a tattoo off with a 9MM

2) They wanted to strip Johnny Knoxville and spray him with the urine of a female deer in heat and put him in a paddock with a couple of male deer and "see what happens". Setting aside the antlers and hoves which will impale/slice you open, I said to Johnny "What are you going to do if one of those male deer "Plugs in". He replied "By God those cameras better be rolling.

3) They wanted to go to a zoo and stick one of their heads up the butt of an elephant. No way would a zoo allow that.

A lot of the stuff you saw, like Johnny flipping over the golf cart he wasn't supposed to do. He just did it. I thought he had broken his neck for sure.

In Japan when they did the bottle rockets out of the butt thing, I wasn't there. They where schit faced and just did it in the middle of the night.

No, I thought it was a stupid idea. Someone else just got to say "No" instead of me.

According to the commentary on the DVD, they figured the giant statue would crumble under the weight of the golf cart as opposed to launching it end over end.

Hugh is in the movie? Where?!

I've been enjoying those guys since they were making CKY skater videos. Pure genius that brings me to tears.

Hugh is probably the reason that (most of them) are still alive. Best in the business.
