Out of that I ended up meeting maybe 30% of those, and had a second date with probably 30% of those. If you do the numbers that means you need to cast a pretty wide net in the beginning and it takes time and effort. But it was totally worth it. Like you I met a wide variety of women - some with "typical" careers, some entrepreneurs, writers, etc. I ended up at pre-Oscar parties due to women I met on match as well as traveling to foreign foreign countries.

There are a set of rules that I evolved during that time and I posted them on one of the previous threads about online dating.

It also means you can run through the list in pretty short order. I lived in a multi-city area in upstate NY of only 200,000 people.
