Old cartoon - Who keeps getting the safe dropped on their head?

Was thinking that it was Boris Badenov in Rocky & Bullwinkle, but I can't find it on youtube.
Wrong show?

I don't think so. The Roadrunner only beeps.

I have dialog in my head along the lines of (in a Russian accent):

Who gets hit? Me!

I feel sure this is the most highbrow thread on Pelican.

I think Bugs Bunny dropped safes on Daffy Duck.

My favorite was Fester and Carbuncle -The Safe Movers, by Don Martin.

But it sounds like you're thinking of an animated cartoon not still images....

Bugs did a lot of smashing Elmer Fudd. But these cartoons rarely did the same gag twice. Usually it would be getting smashed by a couch, then a safe, then a kitchen sink, etc.

I think a lot of the characters got the safe. Didn't it happen to Goofy?
