My grandfather was a lumberjack in the Mojave Forest. He was good.

I looked at a couple of articles. Anyone know what the consistency of the ash is? Do they chip it off like when looking for dinosaur bones or blow it off with a leaf blower?

Probably will find some pretty cool critters but they would have taken refuge when the ash started falling. Doubt they will be stuck to the leaves and branches.

I would like to see pictures of what they actually found. Is it fossils or just the hollow voids in the ash like the people in Pompeii (which they then filled in like a mold for the benefit of tourists)?

I read about this on the BBC website yesterday. It had the same pictures, the artist's renditions. I agree, I want more info about the fossils themselves.
