I wanted a patio bench rather quickly & didn't want to spend the time building one. I already have two large/sturdy benches in the garage & this one will be sealed & used in my huge patio for various things. I may put it on casters to roll it around as per need.
There you go... a quick & dirty bench for those times when you just don't want to build that masterpiece. They claim it's suitable for a vice. At the end of this video the 215# guy jumps up/down on the bench. I haven't set mine up yet so no feedback from me. Home Depot SKU #282-216. Made by Signature Development. . Being a woman w/zero carpenterette skills, this would work for me. Thanks.

This post kinda belongs in the "DIY family" thread. Seems just right for the non-DIY folks.

I swear that the background is Stevenson's Ranch which is a community across the I-5 from me.

Nice idea and great workbench but wish it was another foot taller.

I first saw them at a HD 10 miles away. They were in the center aisle stacked up. They put out 12 in the a.m. and had 3 left when I walked thru the store. When I got to the HD near my house, they had 6 of them them on their computer but they couldn't find them in the store. Days later, they found them stacked up high in the lumber section. I posted the SKU so that if anyone is interested they could call or go to their store. . Joe, I have a monster bench in my shop (4x4s). As I said, this will be more of a patio bench. I don't know...I thought $70 was a good buy for a quick & sturdy bench/table. ![]()
