Yeah, but they are their "Torpedoes" or "Bullets" which are smaller.

I would offend the sandwich snobs if I said that I partook in the 5 chili dogs for $5 at Der Weinershnizel. It was cheap and fast, and I don't regret it!!

Subway makes sandwiches? All I got when I went there was a roll with a very small amount of stuff in it. Not what anyone would call a "sandwich". Well....maybe in California.

they both suck.
IMO Subway is like Starbucks, mediocre product of convenience.

Wow you ate 5 chili dogs! I know the record is some crazy number like 60 but I don't think I can eat more than 3 even if I had not eaten for a day.

I ate 3 while I was working outside on stuff, and came back and ate 2 more over the course of the next hour or so. I was so full, that was all I ate all day until I had a small salad for dinner.
It's been very cold here lately, and something about that hot chili with steam curling off of it - yum!!! |

When I has in high school there was a DW down the road and we could leave the campus at lunch. They had a "Student Special" of 2 chili cheese doors, a frie and a coke for $1.50. That was 35 years ago.

I tried a Reuben with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, on rye at Arby's today (yes Arby's).
Not bad!! Not bad at all!! We can all talk about some great local place, for me it would be The Sandwich Works, but no one would be able to try it. At least the national chains allow for somone else to relate. |
