Smooth.......
But in reality? Given your intended use for the car, I'd replace it.... Don't want to be stranded in Fernley! ![]() |

Go get a new one. Do you really want to risk fire for a 40 dollar part and a couple hours of your time?

if you can't or don't want to fix it, cut it and put a compression fitting on it. Good as new.

Order a new OEM part and swap it out.
It's just not worth the risk.

I have a "friend" who used a neoprene patch and secured it in place with a hose clamp so he could finish the weekends racing.............

I give u credit that it takes a real man to admit he made a mistake. And on the forum too. Yes replace the fuel line or go to dealer/indy shop. If you don't know what u r doing take it to a shop. Don't fool around with fuel!

You can always just cut the line (after you drain the fuel out) and splice it with high pressure fuel hose and double up the hose clamps.
But yeah, you should just replace the whole line. |

You could be driving in an hour. Make sure it is high pressure fuel line. |
