Blame it on the no child left behind policy. Yes I agree Darwin would have something to say about this guy.
Also Freud would nail it oral fixation (on alcohol).

before it is the school's problem..it is the parents. i'm pretty comfortable thinking that parent's shouldnt be sending complete idiots into the school district wishing for miracles. there needs to be a foundation to build on.

No problem. He was bouncing off the support scaffolding on the way down, it broke his fall. He would probably tell you he planned it that way.

Two weeks before graduating from college we were helping a junior celebrate his 21st b'day. He ended up taking a header out of the 3rd story dorm window, only ended up with a sprained wrist. Could easily have cut my career short if he had landed some other way. I have nightmares about it to this day.
