OBD II live data
Looking at the TPS values in real time.
3.5% at idle and 75% at WOT. Shouldn't be 0-100%? Also the MAF shows a value while the car is off. Wonder if those two components should be replaced? KT

I never submit my TPS reports
I recently picked up a couple of Bluetooth OBD II transmitters. There are lots of cool Android and iPhone apps to track and record this stuff in real time.

My tps values also don't go from 0 - 100. I think that's pretty normal depending upon the vehicle and reader. I bet if you spoke to other folks with the same vehicle, they'd see similar readings.
Well, there's always atmospheric pressure, right? So should you always get a reading? My car doesn't support a maf reading through the obdii, so I can't compare.

I don't remember much from school, but....I think....the sensors should send a small value back to the computer, even when inactive, to show they are connected and returning a signal voltage.
Not sure if 3.5% is the usual low value. That 75% at WOT might be some cable slack(?). The potentiometer inside can get gummed up with carbon and get lazy. You might be able to check the full TPS range using the scanner with KeyON-EngineOFF using the pedal and/or pushing the pivot. |

I ran the test with key on only.
Maybe I should disassembled the throttle body and MAF and clean them thoroughly. KT

I know at least on my mazda that "full throttle" is nowhere near 100%.
