Who will not take a dump in a public rest room?

I hold it unless its an emergency. My little boy will not take a dump in public restrooms. He's been doing this since 5, now he's going to be 7 and still will not go. I never told him not to do it, but somehow he just holds it until he gets home. How do you change that?

You can't. He has to do that himself... I'll only go if I HAVE TO.

It's a hygiene thing I think. Or a safety thing. Somehow it's not safe in a public toilet.
Maye you're vulnerable or something like that.

McDonald's and Starbucks have nice clean restrooms, and they're on practically every street corner. It's perfect because you don't have to buy anything, just head straight to the bathroom.

The public restrooms at the highway rest areas? No way...

I think Hepatitis C is transmitted in body fluids... incurable and fatal disease... probably easy to get Hep C from soiled public toilet seats, maybe even restroom faucets and door knobs.

There's no place like home is more than just a way to get Dorothy back to Kansas.

Going into the military usually changes that for most guys. Don't know what it's like today but basic training usually just has four open toilets in the latrine. If you couldn't take a dump there you would explode. I never had a problem but there were guys who didn't shlt for a week when they got there.

When nature makes her demand, any hole in the ground will do. A few strips of paper as a barrier seem to do the trick.

Getting a bit dainty, aren't we?

Use an ass gasket and toilet paper or paper towel between your hands and various surfaces and doorknobs.

Yep, Coffee and a smoke usually helped as well.

Nothing like a nice relaxing crap with three other guys.

Hopefully he will get better when he gets older. For me any restroom in order to avoid an accident!?!

I will stop at a Hotel. Forget MD and Starbucks. Hotels have clean restrooms.

Does the restroom in the doctor's lounge count as a public one? If I have to, I use the Texas t-shirt on the seat.

I like the hotel idea

Micky D's is gold when I'm on the road... however as I said, if I'm going on a long trip I just take care of business before hitting the road.

Unfortunately not all of us have had the privilege of serving our country... at this point I'm way too old... and the OP's son is too young... so I don't think it is an option at this time.
