Picking up a stray and offering it becomes a bigger responsibility than one would think these days. Shots and neutering are mandatory. If you're not willing to foot the bill, what you have there is a $200 liability.

My kids found a feral kitten at Pismo Beach about 15 years ago, they wanted to bring it home, Its still around and is a great cat. Her name is Pismo

Good on ya Jim. Brando there are many kittys and cats needing a home, just check with a humane society or shelter near you. We go our wonderful cat Olena at a shelter
And it has worked out great.
