Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Good looker! I had a collie in my 20's. Great dog, and loyal companion. I loved that breed. Beware of the summer "blow". They blow that undrcoat and you'll have enough in the corners of the house to knit angora sweaters.

Thanks all - so far he is soo different than any of my Chow Chow's - like apples VS tomatoes. But that's what we were looking for. He's 100 lbs of personality. I see a lot of his father's markings - where there is some black markings ( tri color).
Also he has been very good with our vet with shots and 'samples'. He was the most outgoing of the litter.

Both these guys are rescue pups. Big boy was so malnourished when we got him two years ago, vet said he might die. He is a beauty now. Sweetest temperament I have ever seen. I seriously can't believe how lucky I have been with dogs
 Incredible how patient and gentle that big brown dog is with the pup. They thought if the looked cute they would get some pastrami, did not work.
