Another Mustang thread
Well, not really. Where is pwd72s? Have not seen him or any Mustang/pool threads as of late. Maybe he's taking a road trip to find an exotic cue?

He's at home over on the Bullitt Forum. Seems to have regained his composure, and is living life as a happy Mustang owner.

I'm glad to hear that he's at peace with life, he hasn't seemed happy (at least not in the virtual sense) in quite some time.

I worry I pissed him off in his last thread/post about Mustangs. I was getting tired of the Mustang stuff, and the snide stuff about the pcar scene. I took a jab at him and I don't think he has posted since. I should send him a PM, he's a good guy

I wouldn't worry about it. You weren't to blame. Paul IMHO wanted to break up with his girlfriend (Pelican Forums) but wanted to be able to blame the forum. He seems to have gone back to the old nice Paul in the Mustang/Bullitt forums.

Matt hit the nail on the head. I hope he has found peace. I uses to like Paul, but I hated the snide pcar hating person he has become. I wish him peace and many happy years.

It has been said before, but due to the difficulties of communicating with the written word and different senses of what is appropriate as a forum comment, we find ourselves reacting negatively to someone we might get along well with in the real world.
I come back to Pelican because of the sense of give and take and the wide range of interests and opinions. Sometimes it gets 'out of hand' and, I suspect if some of these conversations were taking place face to face, someone around the table would interject with, "That again? Stow it and drink your beer!" Everyone would laugh and the evening would flow. Maybe we need a TASIADYB smiley. ![]() Best Les

Was wondering the same thing the other day. I was driving my mother in law's Purple Saturn home from work after doing some service. A couple of kids in a newer red mustang , who were next to me at the red light, made some comments to me about my Saturn, ( I think they were picking on me). They then left the red light in a cloud of tire smoke. When I pulled up next to them at the next red light ( I lost) , they had some more laughs at my expense. I instantly thought of Paul, and wanted to post about it. Hope he is well. Seemed like a good guy.
I am sure he knows he is always welcome back

Look for the phrase in quotes in his post. Pretty cool saying.
