Great. I live with a thief
I've long suspected that the GF's kid has been swiping money from me. Occasionally, I'll have someone over to buy stuff and pay cash. I use that cash to buy smokes, drinks... and find it odd when $270-300 disappears in a week or so. I know I don't smoke or drink that much coke!
Last week, the GF and her nephew went to New Mexico to visit family. $60 went missing from her dad's wallet (his grandfather) He denied it. I made a little honey pot. Got $40 in cash, assorted bills. Left it on my desk. Last night, $2 went missing after he got home. This morning, another $1. When I left this morning, I started the webcam on a motion sensor. This is what I caught. He was bold enough to do this while we were here...working Needless to say, we're both pretty pissed, and she's extremely upset that he'd steal money from her dad, too... that guy has done a lot for him after his mom abandoned him. I'm extremely tempted to post this on his Facebook wall...

Wolfe - I'm VERY impressed with your detective work! GREAT JOB! That's the way to do it....
 But it's a shame you had to do it, of course....a terrible thing stealing. However it works out - the kid has to understand how absolutely reprehensible it is to STEAL. That's an absolute NO-NO for one to go forth into society and succeed. Same thing for LYING. STEALING and LYING are the 2 major sins to avoid in order to maintain any type of self-esteem and honour. If those are 2 things he can live without so be it. But he has to have that DRILLED into his head. GOOD LUCK!

Just my opinion, but the girlfriend is the biggest problem. You can do so much better than her it's ridiculous. I would give the kid the boot (backed up with a police report and a restraining order), along with the girlfriend.

You need to mark the bills; Put "I stole this" on the bills using lemon juice, when he denies it, just put a lighter under the bills and the lemon juice will show the words.....
