I just threw my LG DVD player onto the street!

It was wonderful.
For months I put up with..first of all...HELLO..How Gay!
Secondary. This expensive p.o.s was very fussy about dvd's.
I would actually pull up a chair to download the newest ...Life of Brian..Cosmos..Brand new.
I'd have to knock the machine gently . Left or right. A Guess in compression sometimes worked!
It would take at times, 10 minutes to load.

I have had this dream in my mind , and it's to get rid of all the insignificant things that build up to become significant!

I tried to load up a C.D that was seen maybe twice and I got...ERROR..!
AGAIN ERROR!!

Well, I wasn't all that mad because I did remove the C.D from the machine.
I GRABBED THAT PIECE OF **** MACHINE AND THREW IT ONTO THE ROAD.

It feels good.
It is done. The devil is cast.

WHAT ARE VERY GOOD DVD PLAYERS OUT THERE?

I would love to chide you for taking out your anger on an inanimate objects, but honestly, I have no moral authority in the issue. The last time I was using my paint sprayer, I dumped a gallon of paint on the patio of the property I was working on. A patio covered in electric cables and gear. There was cursing. And worse.

Knew about the machine, prior to purchase.
That machine had less than 30 hours on it !

How at times I crave the VHS..especially to F.F on all of the stupid warnings.

You mention VHS. I still have my Sony VHS recorder. Works perfectly. My cell phone is LG - works perfectly and so did the previous LG phone till I put it in the washing machine.I am sorry about your cd machine - win some and u lose some. I have not had a POS of anything since early computer I had,
an early Ford Mustang(78 I think).Try epinions.com for what is good and not good. Of course the Pelicanites here are a great source.

I'm looking to upgrade my old Sony DVD player (that's working great by the way) to a Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder and a Blue Ray burner. The main reason is to convert all the old VHS stuff we have into digital. There are services that can do that but it would cost more than the equipment to do it ourselves.

I hear you all on the warnings. The worst is kids videos. They want me to set it up in the middle of whatever I'm doing. 8 minutes of nonsense. Some have autoload some don't. I can never remember.
