You'll probably get a pop as retail piles in after the split. Then look for that entire run up to be taken out by the institutions so they can scoop up the retail shares again.

Adjusted for splits, the handful of shares I bought in 2000 cost me $1.85

Apple reached a 1 TRILLION $ market cap two years ago, and has doubled that since then....just WOW!

personally, I've become very risk-adverse in recent months. Scaredy-kat.

most is in conservative funds like VASIX and VSCGX fer example, but I still have a small percentage out there in index funds like SPY and VUG fer the S&P and QQQ and ARKK fer the nazdack (see tesla thread).
I have some energy stock, but that's not by choice.

What I think would be kinda fun is, we say "hey what about this stock?"
And then we all dog-pile and pick it apart. Things like fundamentals, historical, analyst projections, the whole deal.

When that fizzles we go on to the next stock. Entertaining and edumacational at the same time.
