Car Show, Dorkfest 2012

I went to Port Hueneme yesterday, there were 56 or 57 Z3/Ms there, about 10 were Z3 and the rest M. Mine is the red one at the end of the lot, the only one that color there, Hellrot, again.

There were 4 Phoenix Yellow Coups there and one this green, I think called Evergreen.

Not a bad turnout for only about 4500 total made in five years.

+2 still probably my favorite non-911 car.

Actually I'd be fine with a Z3 coupe as well. Wonder how expensive they are to keep running...

Looks like a upscale mall's parking lot.

Very refreshing to not see any oversized-wheel, stretched-tire, ultra-lowered, playa/ricey models... or were they there over to one side, and you just didn't photograph them?

It was at the BMW center on Arcturus road, BMW had coffe and donuts plus a tour of the place. Every new BMW sold this side of the big river goes through there. Lots of new RRs in the parking garage.

Some more pictures, mostly Z3s, get a 2001 or one of the very few 2002s Z3 for the better HP and up grades. Not the HP of the newer M but close to the HP of the earlier Ms. I look at them as buying a Turbo Porsche or not, the M pricey like the Turbo, the Z3 not costing as much and cheaper to run.

Nope. None of them are taking up two spaces.
